To meet these diverse needs the Social Science and World Language faculty strive to provide an inclusive environment where diversity is examined protected promoted and celebrated.Furthermore we endeavor to develop a climate and culture where classrooms are a safe community of learners who are respected reflected in the curriculum universally supported fairly assessed and feel a strong sense of belonging.As an anti-racist and ethnically unprejudiced community Social Science and World Language educators commit to achieving racial justice by recognizing addressing and eradicating all forms of racism and ethnic oppression including procedural ideological covert overt and systemic racism.Racism is any action policy or way of thinking — cultural personal or institutional — conscious or unconscious — that attempts to marginalize people or suggest that one racial group is in any way inferior or superior to any other group. Anti-racism Is the active opposition to racism. An anti-racist is someone who promotes racial justice and challenges the use of racial differences to explain racial inequalities.
